Section 2What our sheets check in every state
Contractor licenses
Many trades need a state license. We check each one on the state's public license lookup and show the date we checked.
Insurance
We ask for a current certificate and mark the field Not provided until we have one.
Deposits and payment terms
Large deposits often come with legal deadlines. The sheet shows what the business takes up front, if it has told us.
Warranties
We record what the warranty covers and for how long, and whether we've seen the document.
