# Privacy Notice

What we collect when you use OpenBook Local, who sees it, and how to have it deleted. In short: requests go only to the businesses you choose.

## Section 1 What we collect

- When you send a request through one of our forms: your name, contact details, ZIP code and what you need.
- When you browse: basic, cookie-free statistics (pages viewed, device type). No advertising trackers.
- From businesses: the information they supply about their company, and the name and email of the person who supplied it.

## Section 2 Who we share it with

A request goes only to the businesses you tick. We never sell your details or pass them to other businesses. Service providers who host the site and send email process data on our behalf under contract.

## Section 3 How long we keep it, and your choices

Requests are deleted after 12 months. You can ask to see, correct or delete your data at any time through our [contact page](https://theopenbooklocal.com/contact/); we answer within 30 days.
